Scope:
Our Standardised decking scope. 54 Sq Metre deck – 6m x 9m
Deck is 450mm off the ground. stand alone.
Bearers on top of piles.
Joists cut between bearers using joist hangers.
Picture framed at ends.
Decking edging around 2 ends & 1 side.
No stairs
NOT predrilled – for this exercise, we are going to standardise by saying we won’t pre-drill – just screw in because it is pine.
Specification:
We're going to use Roughsawn H5 - 125X125 house piles. 4 Rows @ 3m centres
We’re going to use non structural ex 150x50 (145x45) for bearer and. Joist. Bearers will be double 145x45 – nailed together.
We’re going to use pine ex 100×25 for skin.
Concrete, you are going to need 1 cubic Metre
65mm stainless square head or star head screws.
stainless bolts to Connect bearers to piles.

stainless Joist hangers to put Joists in. @ 450 mm
